ARTA Cinema

Opened in 1913, Cinema ARTA is one of the oldest cinemas in the North-West region of Romania that is still active today.

After an extensive restoration and revitalization process initiated in 2012, ARTA has become a significant cultural hub for the local community, a catalyst for the cultural and independent sector.

‍At Cinema ARTA we promote cultural events, where people of different ages and interests meet in an environment that encourages communication, tolerance and understanding. We create cultural experiences that unite, inspire and become meaningful to the participants.

Our mission is to promote culture and diversity, through the interaction between different art forms and people. The impact of culture on social and urban development being essential, we wish to create an interdisciplinary platform that contributes to the social and cultural life of the city.
